As the CEO and Co-founder of Special Education Advocates K-12, she has dedicated her career to making a difference in the lives of students with disabilities. Her passion for education stems from her own experiences as a student, where she faced numerous challenges in the classroom due to language barriers. NiMi's journey began at Smith College and Howard University, where she obtained her undergraduate degree in education, English, and music. She then went on to continue her studies in South Korea. Upon returning to the USA, NiMi pursued graduate degrees at American InterContinental University, Walden University, and Johns Hopkins, solidifying her knowledge and expertise in the field. With her advanced training, NiMi is able to provide invaluable support to parents and educators, helping them navigate the complex world of special education. Despite her busy schedule, NiMi makes it a priority to spend quality time with her family. Whether it's playing the piano or violin, dancing, listening to KPop, or baking with her children, she cherishes these moments and recognizes the importance of balancing work and personal life. Her commitment to her family is a testament to her character and dedication to creating a better world for future generations. With an undergraduate degree from Howard University, Amber has continued to pursue her passion for education by obtaining advanced degrees in special education and psychology. Thanks to her extensive knowledge and experience, she has become a leading advocate for special education, helping to ensure that every student receives the support they need to succeed. Outside of her work, Amber enjoys a range of hobbies and activities that keep her busy and fulfilled. She has a green thumb, and loves spending time in her garden, tending to her plants and watching them grow. Additionally, she is an avid tennis player, and often spends her weekends on the court, honing her skills and staying active. Yoga is another passion of hers, and she finds that it helps her to stay centered and balanced, both physically and mentally. Of course, Amber's family is also incredibly important to her, and she always makes time to spend with them, whether it's going out for a meal or simply spending a quiet evening at home. Brandon Rodgers

Brandon's advanced degrees in business, marketing, and accounting have given him the tools he needs to excel in his current role as the CFO of Special Education Advocates K-12. Thanks to his expertise, the organization has been able to grow and serve more families in need than ever before. But that's not all - Brandon is also a founding member of Special Education Advocates K-12, and the loving husband of the talented NiMi Rodgers. When he's not at work, Brandon loves nothing more than spending time with his family and engaging in one of his favorite hobbies - golfing. He's also an active member of Phi Beta Sigma Inc, a fraternity dedicated to achieving academic excellence and promoting community service. One of Brandon's most impressive achievements to date was when he spearheaded an Autism Awareness Walk in Northern Virginia.
